I found Julie from a personal recommendation through a friend. I was completely distraught as we had gone for a complete package with the funeral directors but it became apparent days before the service, that there was an obvious mis alignment regarding what we had hoped for from the eulogy and I was wondering how to solve this issue at the last minute and provide the right send off for the deceased.
I sent Julie a message late at night to explain what situation I was in and was so happy to receive a call back the next day.
Julie was extremely empathetic to my position and offered to help with a eulogy straight away. She kindly came to visit me at home which was really appreciated and I knew she was the lady for the job as her energy immediately made me feel at ease. It felt she was somewhat heaven sent!
In the end we were able to secure Julies services as the celebrant and a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders.
I felt Julie had a genuine interest in really understanding the deceased and his relationships, in order to provide an accurate and heart felt eulogy, weaving elements of humour and candid truth into his life story with sensitivity.
I know she went that extra mile, working round the clock, very last minute to honor his passing with a beautifully touching, sympathetic and well constructed service, held with grace and professionalism.
We had lots of attendees give us amazing feedback re the service which went beautifully. I cannot recommend Julie high enough for anyone who is looking for a soul based approach to the difficulty of losing loved ones.
