Julie was able to put the words needed together beautifully at what was a very difficult time, it lifted the day and helped us celebrate the life of a good friend.

Julie recently was the celebrant for my daughter’s wedding / handfasting ceremony. She put in so much work in preparation and the ceremony was utterly gorgeous. She was really patient with us as we tried to craft the ceremony and she had lots of lovely suggestions.

She held the space so beautifully and articulated my daughter and her partners relationship so beautifully.

It is difficult to express just how good Julie’s ceremony was. No wedding I have been to elicited such emotion and it was thanks to Julie’s in-depth research, her poetic precision with words, and indeed her poetry, that she was able to conjure such emotion in the audience.
She helped us to feel and understand the journey that the young couple had had to reach this point.
I was certainly not alone in having tears in my eyes at several points during the ceremony. Most highly recommended!
