Julie is an amazing celebrant! I recently attended a ceremony of hers which was both extremely humourous and romantic. It was obvious she had got to know the bride and groom really well and represented them very authentically. She has a real talent with words and wrote a great speech, and was unflustered while the audience were either laughing or making comments. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Julie was our chosen Celebrant at my wedding last weekend. To prepare for the ceremony, She asked my wife & I lots of questions to ensure she managed to convey our emotions, and tell our story during our Humanist wedding. She also worked with both of us to integrate our vows into the ceremony without elements being repeated… We were bought to tears by it, and we’ve so many people tell us how beautiful the ceremony was… I cannot recommend Julie highly enough, Thank you!

I happened to meet Julie through a friend, just before the cremation of my father. The words she wrote and spoke, at such short notice were absolutely beautiful. I’m so glad that she was able to help me with such a difficult time, totally taking the pressure off and speaking in such a moving way about Dad. I can’t thank her enough. Just lovely.

Julie was the celebrant at a wedding in our friend’s garden. She was brilliant, so natural. I would 100% recommend her. She is warm and welcoming and would put any nervous couples at ease. She was great at judging the audience too.

I have attended two funerals at which poems were read out about the deceased that were written by Julie.  On both occasions she absolutely got, and brilliantly conveyed, the essence of the subject of each of the poems which were written with great insight, compassion and sensitivity.  In both cases the congregations sat with their heads nodding as they listened to the words, sometimes with beaming smiles on their faces as they recognised the friend or relative that they knew so well, at other times wiping away a stray tear moved by the sentiments expressed, and occasionally letting out a little laugh as they remembered an amusing anecdote that was being shared. 

How Julie manages to capture the person being remembered as well as she does, from possibly only a relatively short meeting with their family, is simply beyond me. I will certainly want to use her in the future should I, sadly, be in the position of having to arrange a funeral service for a family member.

Julie wrote a poem for my mother-in-law for the cremation and the whole family was blown away with how she had captured her so well, so much so that we asked if she would also read it at her memorial too. It was an amazing and insightful piece of prose.

Julie made the wedding ceremony of my daughter Jessica and fiancé, Julien just perfect. It was lovely to recall how they met and what their plans are for their future. Julie certainly made this lovely day very special and everyone present enjoyed the service very much. Thank you Julie x

I wish I had met Julie before I got married, I would have loved a creative ceremony like this.

Julie had the perfect approach when getting to know us. She gave us separate questions about our feelings, symbolic moments, plus our journey together as a couple and more. With all the answers combined and a few meetings, I was impressed by how Julie created the perfect ceremony for us. We had only amazing feedback from our guests about our Ceremony and celebrant decision.

Julie told their story with such feeling and depth. We were really swept up in the romance.
