We contacted Julie following the sudden death of our dearest mother. The upset and dismay we were going through made thinking about organising the day and compiling a fitting and honouring eulogy for mum very overwhelming for all of us.

On initial contact we just knew Julie was the perfect celebrant to guide us through the process. We all felt supported, calm and heard from the moment we had contact.

Julie visited us at home as a family and spent a great deal of time and care listening to all of our stories and memories of mum. On the day, we had nothing to worry about. Julie had everything prepared from ensuring we ran to time, had the correct music and most importantly told mums story in the most beautiful and engaging way. Julie’s voice, tone and nature was so soothing.
After the service, we had so many comments from family and friends about how personal the service was and how moving the eulogy was. Everyone thought Julie was absolutely fantastic and wanted to know how we found her. Julie was recommended to me by a friend and it was the best recommendation ever. I was at a complete loss trying to make funeral plans and so worried that Tom, my partner’s eulogy wouldn’t do him justice. There was no need to be so panicked because Julie immediately put me at ease. She was such an attentive listener, so compassionate and empathetic, even the tone of her voice was soothing. The eulogy she wrote conveyed all the different sides of Tom’s character and why we all loved him so dearly. She painted a vivid and poetic picture of his life with her words. Thank you Julie.

Julie was our celebrant at a beautiful outdoor summer wedding, surrounded by 50 guests. We wanted a relaxed, informal, fun but meaningful ceremony and I can’t imagine a better person to have managed it. We shied away from speaking, apart from the necessary, so Julie took on the task of gathering all the right information to speak on our behalf. She meticulously crafted the ceremony, making sure to plan in two family members speaking, and basically just wowed us all. I’m emotional thinking about it. It was such a thoughtful, well researched ceremony, which she ran through with us in advance, although we didn’t want to know too much as we wanted to take it all in on the day and we trusted her to do an amazing job. Julie also added in some laughs, and special notes that only we would understand which I really appreciated.
The guests absolutely loved her and her approach to the ceremony. Generally she’s a beautiful person inside and out and made them all feel welcome. We were inundated with queries as to how we found her.

Julie was able to put the words needed together beautifully at what was a very difficult time, it lifted the day and helped us celebrate the life of a good friend.

Julie recently was the celebrant for my daughter’s wedding / handfasting ceremony. She put in so much work in preparation and the ceremony was utterly gorgeous. She was really patient with us as we tried to craft the ceremony and she had lots of lovely suggestions.

It is difficult to express just how good Julie’s ceremony was. No wedding I have been to elicited such emotion and it was thanks to Julie’s in-depth research, her poetic precision with words, and indeed her poetry, that she was able to conjure such emotion in the audience.

I found Julie from a personal recommendation through a friend. I was completely distraught as we had gone for a complete package with the funeral directors but it became apparent days before the service, that there was an obvious mis alignment regarding what we had hoped for from the eulogy and I was wondering how to solve this issue at the last minute and provide the right send off for the deceased.

I sent Julie a message late at night to explain what situation I was in and was so happy to receive a call back the next day.
Julie was extremely empathetic to my position and offered to help with a eulogy straight away. She kindly came to visit me at home which was really appreciated and I knew she was the lady for the job as her energy immediately made me feel at ease. It felt she was somewhat heaven sent!
In the end we were able to secure Julies services as the celebrant and a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders.

In March of this year we lost our beautiful eldest son to suicide, not an experience to wish on one’s worst enemy.
