Funeral Celebrant creating beautifully poignant ceremonies across Sussex

The perfect send off for your loved one

If you are planning a funeral and feel overwhelmed by what words to say and the order of service for the day then look no further, I’m here for you!

I write beautiful, honest and engaging eulogies to accurately portray a person’s life and their influence on others.

Guided by your input I will create a tender and touching funeral service with every element carefully considered, to faithfully reflect your loved one and the legacy they leave behind.

We were very lucky to engage Julie to hold our assembled hands through the grueling crematorium process. She was a very kind, composed and reassuring presence who was hugely appreciated and one who was extremely good in her role. – Giles Maberly

I happened to meet Julie through a friend, just before the cremation of my father. The words she wrote and spoke, at such short notice were absolutely beautiful. I’m so glad that she was able to help me with such a difficult time, totally taking the pressure off and speaking in such a moving way about Dad. I can’t thank her enough. Just lovely! – Adele Hammond

What will a funeral celebrant cost?

I charge £250, which includes all the planning and writing leading up to the day, plus conducting the funeral service itself. I am either employed via the funeral director or recommended through word of mouth.
